The most opulent apartments in Cyprus

One Limassol - The pride of Cyprus

The One Limassol, the tallest building in Cyprus, features 83 luxurious apartments, each selling for nearly €11 million. World-class amenities and services that could rival property in Dubai, London, Sydney and even New York.

If there is one residence redefining luxury living on the Mediterranean, then it will be the One Tower in Limassol. Hosting the most expensive Cyprus property, the address is setting new international standards in prime seafront development.

The One Tower, located on the much-sought-after 26th October Avenue, is Europe's tallest residential tower at 170 metres in height and home to some of the most opulent apartments on the global property map.

The building rises 37 floors high and features 83 luxurious apartments, each selling for nearly €11 million. While seamlessly merging with the exciting Limassol landscape around it, the building boasts world-class amenities and services that could rival property in Dubai, London, Sydney and even New York.

According to local estate agents, such is the clamour from the world's elite for a slice of the One Tower, some 40 of the properties have been snapped up at the pre-release stage.

One Tower

Construction of the One Tower began in 2016 with its builder Pafilia Developers seeking to re-imagine the Limassol property-scape and offer an iconic building that would firmly place Cyprus property on the global map of luxury residences.

The tower has been designed and constructed by a unique consortium. It was designed by renowned architects, London-based WKK, in conjunction with Atkins, who were behind the Burj Al Ara, while Buro Happold undertook structural engineering design.

One Tower's design draws on the inspiration of the shape of a yacht's gentle arcing and is fitting for the shoreline that now dominates the bustling heart of Limassol.

Standing several storeys higher than the nearest building, it is a one-of-a-kind structure that has benefitted from cutting-edge construction technology and is topped with a 17-metre crown structure.

The One Tower is quickly garnering global attention not only as a source of boosting Limassol's image in the luxury property market but as a wonderful alternative to Mediterranean living, but by positioning Cyprus as an attractive centre for future foreign investment.

The developers have utilized innovative design solutions to reduce energy consumption and minimize the cooling loads during the hot season. The build's shell and top frame define its visual appearance, while solar shading studies and computational geometry tools were deployed to shape the shell, frame the views and protect the apartments.

The property stands prime on a seafront boulevard that runs parallel to an enchanting palm-lined promenade in keeping with the developer's high specifications. Accented with boutique shopping and cafe culture, the avenue links residents to the city's business district, fashionable shopping quarter and modern marinas.

The One Tower has also received European and international recognition and awards as the Best Residential High Rise Development in Europe.

Apartments

One of the unique features of all the properties within One Tower is that they all have views of the Mediterranean Sea and the sprawling Limassol shoreline.

An unfurnished 718 sqm apartment on the 25th level, and available for nearly €11 million, features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and a terrace of 98 sqm with stunning views.

On entering the apartment, you cannot help but notice the levels of light and the open, generous space and refinement of detailing. A combination of glass, stone, stainless steel and marble have been utilized, along with woods and natural hues.

The two and three-bed apartments, which are spread over 27 levels, are available in the conventional or open-plan configuration. To combine the outside living space, the developers have utilized floor-to-ceiling glazing that opens on to deep-lying terraces, enough to encourage synergy between indoor and outdoor living.

Levels 31 to 34 are occupied by three and four-bed duplex homes that offer spacious living, with double-height atriums, open-plan living and radiant finishes. They benefit from 270-degree views of the city, the vast Mediterranean Sea, and the Cyprus landscape's mountainous backdrop.

Once complete, the building will include two- and three-bedroom apartments and three- and four-bedroom duplex homes. A three-storey penthouse will be its crowning glory at the top and include a swimming pool. The building will also comprise shops, a restaurant, a residential lobby, as well as a gym, spa and conference facilities, and services to rival any five-star hotel.

According to local estate agents, the residential tower will also feature an outdoor heated covered pool, allocated parking, terracing, a children's play area, and 24/7 security and concierge facilities.

Limassol

While the building offers a new era in luxury living and sets a new benchmark in architecture and design in Cyprus and Europe, Limassol offers a surprisingly affordable lifestyle and all-year-round living.

Cyprus sits close to three continents, Europe, Africa and Asia, and enjoys more than 320 days of glorious sunshine each year.

Limassol is perfectly placed for working and living, as it is within easy reach of two international airports that offer flights within Europe and further afield. The city, and Cyprus as a whole, enjoys a deep, rich and varied history but is equally positioned at the forefront of modern life.

The city, and the rest of the island, enjoy a wonderful mix of stunning beaches, a warm climate and mountains. A high standard of living can be enjoyed while also appreciating affordability and the legendary Cypriot hospitality.

Given the many outside influences on the island over the centuries, its cuisine is at once adventurous and varied, while it caters to the sporty, the workaholics, and the leisurely. All pursuits are within easy reach of the One Tower.

Investor Breaks

Companies headquartered in Cyprus benefit from a favourable tax regime and full European status. Cyprus boasts one of the lowest corporate tax rates at 12.5%.

Investors buying property on the island above a €2 million government threshold limit can also qualify for citizenship and a Cypriot passport. Citizenship grants the right to live, work and study anywhere in Europe.

For those seeking elite living, within the confines of a leisurely, sun-soaked culture, then it is waiting at the door of one of the luxury apartments at the One Tower in Limassol, Cyprus.
